Continuing through the Book of Acts, Chapter 13. In this chapter we do a complete reading of the chapter with running commentary. We find Paul and Bar-Nabba (Barnabas) in Antioch, called and set apart by the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit) to do the work He (the Lord) has called them to do. From there they sailed to Cyprus and started to participate in the Jewish community including synagogue worship, always proclaiming Yeshua as the promised Messiah.

Continuing through the Book of Acts of the Emissaries - (Sent One's) Chapter 12. In this chapter we talk about, among other things, the capture and release of Kefa (Peter) and the prayers of the saints for his release. We also touch on Herod Agrippa's death as recorded in Scripture and in historical accounts. Start of a series on the Book of Daniel by Elder Allan Nemer. This series will not be taught every week but every so often. Continuing through the Book of Acts, Chapter 11, Kefa (Peter) is confronted by other Messianic Jewish disciples regarding the fact that he mingled with Gentiles (non-Jewish people). Kefa then has to explain himself. This message includes a backwards look, re-reading of Acts chapter 2 for context. Before moving on to the next chapter in the future we will be spending one last session digging deeper into the events of Chapter 10. We will be examining, among other things, the depth of the change Kefa (Peter) was called to. So you understand the vision of Peter, a reading of Leviticus 11 is included (the Kosher food laws) so you can see why Kefa (Peter) was initially horrified by the request. Short Torah Commentary from Genesis 29:11. Jacob meets Rachel for the first time, he raises his voice and wept aloud. WHY? The possible answer is based on Jacob's personality.
