We finish the series by tying it all together. We go through the first 4 messages and add on the final 2 phrases: unwavering, without hypocrisy. The result is, we pray, a more complete understanding of this scripture. This sermon was given by an elder in our congregation, Allan Nemer during our Saturday Shabbat service on March 5, 2022.

Sunday Feb 20, 2022

We continue in chapter 24 of the Book of Acts. Today dealing with verses 14-16. Here we see Shaul (Paul) continuing his testimony before Roman governor Felix. Paul is saying that despite the fact that the leadership considers him and other followers of Yeshua as a sect (a group of people with particular beliefs, different from them), in fact Paul's beliefs are the same as their beliefs. In this section we deal with the resurrection of the dead, showing that Paul's beliefs are consistent and scriptural. This sermon was given during our Saturday Shabbat Service on February 19, 2022 by Messianic Rabbi Frank Davis

Part 4 of the series on the Wisdom From Above. Based on James (Jacob 3:17). Because of the length of time from the last message in early October there is a very short review before talking about the next phrase in the scripture: "Full of Mercy and Good Fruit". This message was given by Allan Nemer during our Saturday Shabbat service on January 29, 2022. We recommend you listen to the first 3 in the series to get all of the details:
Part 1 on August 14, 2021 on the Basics: https://seedofabraham.podbean.com/e/wisdom-from-above-god-part-1-basics/
Part 2 on September 4, 2021 on "It's Pure" https://seedofabraham.podbean.com/e/wisdom-from-above-god-part-2-it-s-pure/

A reading and short commentary on the Ten Commandments. Basically, it is in the Bible and that includes the Torah and the Law that we get to know what kind of God is in our Midst. This torah reading was done by Allan Nemer during our Saturday Shabbat Service on January 22, 2022.

We continue with our studies in the Book of Acts, chapter 23. This sermon was given by Messianic Rabbi Frank Davis during our Saturday Shabbat Service on January 1, 2022.

The Torah Reading (Sh'mot) is from Exodus 1:1 to 6:1. We are introduced to Moses (Moshe), his birth, his life and forced departure from Egypt, his new life in Midian and his calling to go back to Egypt. A person might think that Moses eagerly embraced his calling. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. When Moses was confronted by a Holy God, unlike his past in Egypt, now he is unsure of himself and recognizes his sinful life. Even asking God to choose someone else. When you examine ALL of scripture you will see that is a common occurrence.  Note: early on a reference is made, recommending people to view a teaching series by R.C. Sproul. The teaching is on the Holiness of God, (highly recommended). Link: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL30acyfm60fVpGc7Eo--3S6w1kdhXY9Cb

Sunday Dec 12, 2021

We start the next chapter of the Book of Acts, chapter 23. Here we find Shaul (Paul) finishing up his testimony before the Sanhedrin and creating controversy in the process. We also find Shaul receiving marching orders for his future from Yeshua himself in a nighttime visitation. Paul also is transported to Caesarea to save his life and also testify before the Roman regional governor, Felix. This message was given by Messianic Rabbi Frank Davis during our Saturday Shabbat Service on December 11, 2021.

Sunday Dec 05, 2021

A short synopsis of Hanukkah. It's history, what it meant to the Jewish people then and how we can apply it's meaning in our lives at this time. (Since we are the temple of the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) that means we must cleanse and rededicate our temples as well).
This sermon was given by Messianic Rabbi Frank Davis during our Saturday Shabbat Service on December 4, 2021.
