26 Anyone who thinks he is religiously observant but does not control his tongue is deceiving himself, and his observance counts for nothing. 27 The religious observance that God the Father considers pure and faultless is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being contaminated by the world. James/Ya'acov 1: 26-27 Complete Jewish Bible
True and pure religion that is acceptable to the Lord is one where the person lives out the Word of God (Fruit of the Spirit). Continuing through the Book of Ya'acov/James. We focus on chapter 1, verses 19-27. This sermon was given by Messianic Rabbi Frank Davis during our Saturday Shabbat Service on June 10, 2023.

13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”—for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He himself tempts no one. 14 But each one is tempted when he is dragged away and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is full grown, it brings forth death. Ya'acov/James 1:13-15 (TLV Bible).
Continuing through the Book of James/Ya'acov, Chapter 1, mostly dealing with verses 13-18. This message was given by Messianic Rabbi Frank Davis during our Saturday Shabbat Service on April 22, 2023.

This sermon goes through some situations as defined by the Book of Jacob (James). This message was given by Messianic Rabbi Frank Davis during our Saturday Shabbat Service on January 21, 2023.
