The Nurturing Heart of God
May 10th, 2009 — seedofabrahamFull Title:God the Father is a Mother Too! (The Nurturing Heart of God). The first part of this message deals with how much the Father loves us and cares for us. The second part deals with more serious aspects of the Lords nurturing nature that is not discussed as frequently; The Lord, like any mother (parent) confronts sin in our lives and also groans and travails in prayer and intercession till we become more like him. Paul (Saul) frequently discusses that subject in scripture about how much he travails in prayer and intercession (like any parent) for those under his care.
Before the sermon, in the first 5 minutes of the podcast, Rabbi Ed gives us a humorous list of questions and answers that a second grade class said about mothers. This message was given by Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman during our Saturday Shabbat Service on 5-19-2009.
