How Do We Finish?

Many people in scripture not only had a call on their lives but completed the call, they finished their work. As Yeshua (Jesus) was just about to face being executed he praised His father that He was able to finish the work that He was called to do. Many people preach about finding their call, many speak about overcoming obstacles to fulfill their calling, few talk about finishing the call on their lives. This message was given by Messianic Rabbi Bruce Neiger on September 27, 2008.

Do the Works You Did At First

In the Book of Revelations, chapter 2,  the congregation in Ephesus was asked by the Lord to do the works they did at first. Failing to do that meant serious consequences for them. What does that mean for them and for us? Other topics include a short discussion on Revelations, Chapter 1, as a preface to the main topic. This teaching was done on September 20, 2008 by Allan Nemer, an elder in our congregation.

To read an 4 part blog article that was somewhat based on this sermon go to our Podcast Resources page at http://www.seedofabraham.org/Text/new%20site/Podcast%20resources.html and look for the link entitled: Do the Works You Did At First.

Bio: Allan Nemer has been a follower of Yeshua since 1980 and has been in the Messianic Jewish Movement the entire time. He is one of the founding members of the Seed of Abraham and is generally involved in several background functions in the congregation.

Righteous Judgement Part 3

“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” John 7:24 NKJV

Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman continues a multi-part series on learning how to judge a person with righteous judgment according to the standards laid out by Yeshua in Scripture.

Before this message we had just finished singing “Hiney Ma Tov” in our praise time and Rabbi Ed started his message by segueing from a message on the song to the message on “Righteous Judgement”. This sermon was given on September 13, 2008.

Transformation

The Lord is looking for disciples. Disciples that are willing to be transformed into His image. One of the reasons transformation is necessary is that our thoughts, lives and relationships have been marred by sin. Part of that transformation is dealing with our constant tendency, even as followers of Yeshua (Jesus), to be preoccupied with ourselves (idolatry). This message was given by Dr. Howard Morgan on November 3, 2007.
